I created JoyWild from a longing I kept seeing in the treatment room—and in my own life.

For nearly two decades as an esthetician and founder of Juniper Lane Skin Studio in Ojai, I’ve had the privilege of touching thousands of faces and hearing the stories that live underneath them. Women would come in wanting glow, firmness, softness, radiance. But underneath that, what they were often really craving was something deeper: a moment to come back to themselves.

As a working mom of two boys, I know how easy it is to move through the day caring for everyone else first. Between school pickups, building a business, holding space for clients, and the beautiful chaos of motherhood, it can feel rare to have even a few quiet moments that are just yours.

That’s what skincare became for me.

Not a routine.
A ritual.
A pause.
A way to soften back into my body and remember myself.

My philosophy has been shaped by a journey through many worlds of skincare and healing. I’ve worked everywhere from London to Los Angeles and Sonoma, alongside dermatologists, holistic healers, and everything in between. From clinical skin health to energetic touch, advanced technology to botanical wisdom, every chapter has shaped how I see beauty today: not as something to chase, but as something we return to.

JoyWild was born from that philosophy.

The name holds everything I believe in:
joy as healing, and wildness as truth.
Softness and instinct. Luxury and nature. Science and soul.

Living in Ojai has deeply shaped the spirit of this brand—the golden light, the grounding stillness, the untamed beauty of the landscape. I wanted to bottle that feeling: the sense of exhaling, reconnecting, and remembering yourself.

Our hero oil, Drops of Jupiter Ritual Oil, was inspired by transformation—that beautiful feeling of leaving, evolving, and returning radiant. Powered by botanical lipids, bakuchiol, sea buckthorn, and antioxidant-rich plant oils, it was designed to deeply nourish the skin while creating a daily ritual of touch, presence, and glow.

This is not about fixing yourself.

It’s about coming home to yourself—
